The Taste of England is a
free house, set in a
converted barn, just outside Thatcham in Berkshire, with a friendly and
informal atmosphere, traditional pub grub and meals throughout the
week, with a Carvery on Sundays. An ideal venue for parties, offering a selection of options, that we can customise to your needs. We regularly have live music or other events. Come and relax with a game of pool, cribbage, dominoes or darts, or catch up with your email using our free WiFi See What's On

The bar area is relaxed, and home like. Along with the usual tables, chairs and barstools we have old fashioned games and cards,
a pool table and a dartboard. There's also FREE WiFi so you can websurf, do your email, or just work - and you can plug in to save your battery.
We are a great venue for the summer, and have a seated
outdoor area, for people to sit out and have a drink or meal.
In the
winter, our outside area remains sheltered, with a fire to keep you
warm. Or you can go a little further down to sit
on the benches, nearer
the duck pond.
